So where does Anthony and Maggie's love story begin? Let’s take it way back to 2011 when Maggie sees Anthony for the first time. Maggie’s initial impression of Anthony was a hairy, ethnic, gentleman who she met at work. Anthony famously recalls that in the very early days of them knowing each other, their 23 year old selves said “I’d never date you”. Friends forever was the goal and something that came to them with ease. Both Anthony and Maggie agree that there is great freedom and respect in the other supporting them to do “their thing”, they are mutually encouraging of each other’s independence, they can be independent together and there is peace and ease in their relationship, just some of the telling signs for the both of them that they have found their person.

For these two, it's the simplest pleasures in life that keeps the spark alive. They each dream of more travel, but equally bask in the little things, like preparing and sharing a meal together, hearing about each other’s day or how they slept, they are deeply interested in each other and they listen, this is where the magic lies, wandering along the beach together with their fur baby Henry would have to be one of their favourite past times.

They have always supported each other’s dreams and respect and value each other’s independence. They have fostered an incredible relationship which is gentle, loving, fun and flows so effortlessly. Anthony and Maggie invited their nearest and dearest (Henry included), to the iconic Crooked River Wines located in Gerringong on the NSW South Coast. Not only is it a dog friendly venue, but also offers great local produce and exceptional wine, with quite the spectacular view. The venue is a reflection of the pair, as this is where they have always dreamed of growing old together. Congratulations to you both.
